Optical DTT+SAT Transmitter
1.2 Product Description
Optical transmitter for distributing satellite and digital terrestrial signals over a single single-mode fiber optic
cable.Traditional RF signals input to the transmitter are converted and distributed over a single-mode optical
fiber that can be split via passive splitters and shunts to multiple optical connections (PON=Passive Optical
Network) with a single transmitter. The system involves the use of a Wideband LNB with 2 H/V outputs. The
CAG (Automatic Gain Control) on the transmitter facilitates product configuration by automatically adjusting
the input signal level to the optical laser.
SAT IN: input F connectors for the two satellite Wideband polarizations (290 ÷ 2340 MHz) with LNB remote
feed. TV IN: F connector for TV signal input (40 ÷ 790MHz).
OPTICAL OUT: SC/APC connector of optical transmitter output for fiber link.
LED PS: on (red) when product is poweredLED OPT: on (green) regular optical power, if off there is a problem
with the optical laser
