Insert the tom holder into the tom holder base of the
bass drum. Then, tighten the T-bolt on the tom holder
base to secure it in place. From the player's side,
attach the small and large tom toms to the left and right
L-rods, respectively. Next, pass the L-Rod through tom
tom bracket and tighten the T-nut of tom tom bracket
at the memory lock position to secure it in place. If you
want to change the height of the tom tom, adjust the
tom tom's position on the L-Rod or pipe or move the
tom tom holder up or down.
Make sure to loosen and retighten the square headed
bolt of memory locks once the desired height is
achieved. Lastly, the angle of the tom toms can be
adjusted by loosening the T-nuts that secure the L-rod
in place.
IMPORTANT
* When adjusting the angle of the tom tom, make sure to fi rm-
ly support the tom tom with one hand and loosen the T-nut
with the other. If you do not support it fi rmly with one hand,
the tom tom may fall and injure your fi ngers or scratch the
surface of the bass drum.
* Over prolonged use, if the angle of the tom changes with the
T-nut securely tightened, remove the tom from the rod, loosen
the T-nut, and apply a small amount of commercial grease to
the bolt. This may restore the tom holder

Assembling the Floor Tom
Using a tuning key, loosen the tension bolts and remove
the two hoops that are fi xed to the fl oor tom shell. Keep
the tension bolts in a secure place, as they will be used
later when reattaching the drumhead.
Next, as with the bass drum, place the head and hoop
on the shell in the exact order shown in Fig. 4, then
tighten the drumhead on the shell. The batter and
resonant drumheads are different, so make sure to
check the markings on the assembled tom tom head.
Tension bolts for the fl oor tom are included in the parts
box.
•
Setting Up the Floor tom
* Attach the three floor tom legs to each leg bracket.
Make sure to face each leg away from the fl oor tom
shell to maximize the drum's stability.
* When positioning the floor tom, place one leg near
the bass drum pedal. Then, adjust the fl oor tom to the
same height or slightly lower than the snare drum. It is
common to tilt the fl oor tom slightly inward towards
the player for a comfortable playing position.
