Tighten the nozzle (3) for a wider spray
jet.
Spraying
!
WARNING! Consider wind, rain
and other climate and environmental
conditions to avoid hazards through
uncontrolled or unintended liquid
distribution.
Remove the spray lance (4) from the
spray lance holder (11).
Carefully hang the product over your
shoulder with the shoulder harness (1)
(See Using the shoulder harness), carry
it by the locked pump handle (16c) (See
Unlocking / locking the pump handle)
or place it on levelled ground. Keep the
tank spray (15) upright at all times.
Hold the spray lance (4) firmly by the
handle (9) and direct it to the desired
target area.
Press and hold the trigger (8b) to spray.
Adjust spray jet (See Adjusting the
spray jet) if desired. For best results and
even distribution, move the spray lance
(4) in a smooth motion.
Release the trigger (8b) to stop spraying.
In case the pressure is no longer suffi-
cient for spraying, the pressure valve (7)
will close for spraying action until the
pressure is increased again (See Build-
ing up pressure).
Release residual pressure (See Releas-
ing pressure) and dispose of residual
liquid after spraying.
CLEANING AND CARE
!
WARNING! Always release resid-
ual pressure (See Releasing pressure)
before cleaning. Protect yourself with
suitable personal protective equipment
(PPE) from hazardous substances, as
you would while spraying. Take precau-
tions to avoid environmental contami-
nation from hazardous substances.
Do not use chemical, alkaline, abrasive,
aggressive detergents, or disinfectants
to clean this product as they might be
harmful to its surfaces. Clean all parts
with water only.
Remove the nozzle (3) from the spray
lance (4) and clean it under running
water (See Adjusting the spray jet).
Remove congestions and residues with
a needle. Ensure the O-ring is undam-
aged and sits in its groove.
Remove the spray lance (4) from the
pressure valve (7) and flush it under
running water (See Assembly). Loos-
en congestions carefully with a wire.
Ensure the spray lance O-ring (4c) is
undamaged and sits in its groove.
Remove the suction hose (10) from the
handle (9) and the suction hose termi-
nal (13) and flush it under running wa-
ter. Loosen congestions carefully with
a wire. Ensure the O-ring at the suction
hose terminal (13) is in place.
Remove the pump unit (16) (See Re-
moving / inserting the pump unit) and
flush it under running water. Rinse the
spray tank (15) with water. Turn it up-
side down to empty it from rofual water.
Dry all parts thoroughly and ensure all
water is fully drained from all parts.
