Troubleshooting
−
Try to place the device in an area where no heat sources are in the camera's
field of view.
−
In some cases, if the camera is near a body of water, it will take photos without
any subject. Try pointing the camera toward the earth.
−
Avoid placing the device on a fragile tree which may move in the event of
strong wind.
−
Remove the branches that are in front of the camera lens.
−
Sunrise or sunset can trigger the PIR sensor. The device must be reoriented.
−
If an animal or person is moving quickly, he or she may move out of the
camera's field of view before the photo is taken. Move the device back or
reorient it.
−
Check that the memory card is not full. If the card is full, the device may stop
taking photos/videos.
−
Check the battery status of the solar panel and make sure there is enough
power left to operate the device.
−
Make sure that the device selector is in the ON position and not in the OFF
position.
−
Format the memory card with the device before using it or when the device
stops taking photos/videos.
