4.5 - ADJUSTING THE CLUTCH
The clutch (provided by the control panel) limits the force exerted by the gate against an obstacle preventing opening or closing.
CAUTION
Adjustment must be performed after installing the automation device and must be in compliance with current safety regulations (UNI
8612) or those in force in the country of installation.
The force is controlled in both directions of movement and must allow for the gate to be closed by simply pushing it by hand (force of
approx. 10 Kg). Check periodically. Choose control panels providing electronic regulation of the force.
4.6 - GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
Our products have a 12-month guarantee running from the date of installation. Guarantee is limited only to free repairs or repla-
cements of the items found to be defective. Guarantee is not valid in case the products have been tampered with, changed, not pro-
perly installed or in case they have no identification label carrying the production code and date. We refuse all responsability for
any damages which, directly or indirectly, may result to people, things and animals, fail to observe all indications in the instruc-
tions manual, and especially as for the instructions concerning installation, use and safety and the non-respect of the regulations
and standards ruling in the country where the installation is to be carried out.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
KINDS OF FAULT
When the opening command is given, the gate
does not open and the motor does not start.
When the opening command is given the
motor starts but the gate does not move
The gate moves in jerks.
The gate is noisy.
The gate stops halfway or does not start.
Acting on the proper command the gate does
not close.
WARNING
Read carefully the guarantee conditions in 4.6 CHAPTER: GUARANTEE CONDITIONS. The observance of the general gua-
rantee conditions and use of DEA original accessories is essential and binding for the validity of public liability policy for
products - it covers any damages to people or things resulting from manufacture defects of our products.
PROBABLE CAUSE
No voltage.
The circuit is not correctly connected.
The remote control does not work .
The manual release is open.
The motor connections is inverted and the
motor pushes the gate in the opposite direction.
The clutch is set too low
Problems with the photocells.
The connection are not correct.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Restore voltage.
Check that the connections are correct.
Check that the remote control battery is not
flat.
Check that the transmitter and receiver
codes correspond.
Check that the receiver is working.
Close the manual release.
Restore correct connections.
Set the clutch correctly. If this affects safety,
add further safety system.
Check the photocells and their connections.
Restore correct connection.
