1. Release the cutting depth adjustment lever (14);
2. Move the cutting head according to the scale shown on
the machine;
3. Lock the lever.
1. Plug in the power (5);
2. Press the lock-off button (3) and then the ON/OFF switch
(2);
3. To switch off the wall chaser, release the ON/OFF switch.
The wall chaser is designed for straight cuts. Curved
cuts are not permitted.
The wall chaser is designed for dry cutting. Do not use it
with water.
Always hold the wall chaser with both hands.
1. Draw lines to define the direction to guide the blades;
2. Fit a vacuum cleaner;
3. Set the cutting depth;
4. Position the rear roller (7) on the wall surface where a
groove will be created;
The blade (9) should not touch the surface.
5. Switch on the wall chaser and wait until the blade
reaches maximum rotation speed;
6. Gradually lower the wall chaser so that the blade starts
to cut;
7. As soon as the front roller (11) touches the surface, start
cutting along the lines. Move the wall chaser forward, in
the opposite direction to the rotation of the blade;
8. Move the wall chaser slowly, applying pressure to the
rollers;
Do not apply too much pressure on the machine.
Applying too much pressure may cause motor or
blade damage.
9. To finish cutting, switch off the wall chaser and let the
blade stop completely before removing the machine
from the groove.
Do not touch the blade after use. Allow to cool down before
touching.
Before performing cleaning, adjusting, repairing and
maintenance work, switch the power tool off and
unplug the power cord. Wait for the blade to stop
completely.
The wall chaser does not require any additional lubrication
or maintenance. However, you must perform regular
cleaning for a continuous and trouble-free operation.
Always keep the blade clean and sharp. Properly cared
blades jam less frequently, can be more easily controlled,
and allow greater efficiency during operation.
The motor will not start if the carbon brushes are worn out.
The brushes must be replaced in time, otherwise there will
be poor contact between the brushes and the rotor, which
may lead to sparks and damage to the power tool. Both
carbon brushes should be replaced at the same time by two
brushes with equal characteristics.
1. Open the carbon brushes cover (6);
2. Remove the worn-out carbon brushes and install the
new ones;
3. Place the carbon brush cover and tighten it.
The moving parts of the power tool must be kept constantly
greased to ensure the best performance and the expected
service life.
Lubrication should be frequent, but not excessive. Apply
only a few drops of grease, after each use, to ensure power
tool's good performance.
