Transportation
1. Switch the chain saw off and remove the battery pack.
2. Clean the chain saw.
3. Attach the chain sheath on the guide bar and chain.
4. Always carry the chain saw by its handle.
5. Protect the chain saw from any heavy impact or strong vibrations which may occur during
transportation in vehicles.
6. Secure the chain saw to prevent it from slipping or falling over.
Storage
1. Switch the chain saw off and remove the battery packs.
2. Clean the chain saw.
3. Attach the chain sheath on the guide bar and chain.
4. Clean the chain saw and empty the oil tank.
5. Store the product and its accessories in a dark, dry, frost-free, well-ventilated place.
6. Always store the product in a place that is inaccessible to children. The ideal storage is
under room temperature.
7. Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts.
Service
We recommend that all machine service be performed by a SKIL Factory Service Center or
Authorized SKIL Service Station.
