• Press the harness adjusting button and pull the harness towards you to loosen it (FIG.20)
• Detach the harness from the bottom metal belt-yoke, remove the shoulder pads from the top
metal belt-yoke (FIG.21, FIG.22)
• Insert the harness and the shoulder pads through one of the slots in the structure of the backrest
of the seat at one of the three heights provided for, depending on the size of the child (FIG.23)
• At the back of the seat, after performing the above operation, reattach the harness to the lower
metal belt-yoke and the shoulder pads to the upper metal belt-yoke (FIG. 24, FIG.25)
• Pull the harness adjuster strap to adjust the harness to the right length (FIG.26)
NOTE: For group I, the usual height for the harness is at either the second or the third slot in
the back-rest, depending on the size of the child. (FIG.27)

FITTING INTO THE CAR - GROUP I (For children from 9 to 18 kg)
FACING FORWARDS ONLY
(DO NOT USE ON SEATS EQUIPPED WITH BUILT-IN AIR BAGS)
A) Remove the padded newborn insert and headrest
B) Press the seat reclining adjustment handle and pull the seat to the right reclining position for
GROUP I, which is reached when the red arrow on the side of the back-rest of the seat , lines up
with positions "1", "2" or "3" indicated on the corresponding side of the base and you will hear a
"click" as it locks (FIG.28, FIG.29)
C) Place the child car seat on the seat of the car, equipped with three-point seatbelts (FIG.30)

D) Push the car seat belt through the space in the back-rest of the child seat.
Make sure that the lap belt of the car runs through the red clip and is not twisted.
Pull the car seat belt firmly; make it tight enough to hold the child seat properly and insert it into
the seat belt anchor until you hear a "click" (fig. 31)
