WARNING:
- Do not weld near fl ammable liquids. The welding
electric arc coming in contact with fl ammable
liquids can cause fi res.
- Do not weld in very humid places or over
anything wet. Electrical shocks may cause serious
injury or death.
- Do not tap the torch to remove spatter. Tapping
or hitting the torch will deform the nozzle and
could potentially crack the body of the torch
damaging the gas protection area.
- Clean the nozzle, contact tip, and the holes of the
gas diff user periodically. To avoid spatter build-up,
it is advisable to use Sumig's anti-spatter spray,
liquid, or gel form.
- Avoid excessive bending to the input and output
water hoses. Never use a water-cooling torch with
the water cooler off . Check the level of liquid in the
water cooler periodically.
- Avoid pulling, bending, cutting, and dropping
heavy items on the electrical cable. This will avoid
compromising the electrical isolation and the clear
passage of gas and the welding wire, as well as
preventing water leaks in water-cooled torches.
- When using water-cooled torches with long
cables, fi ll up the water level in the refrigerator at
the time of the installation.
