Do notat any time makeanyadjustmentswithoutfirststoppingthe
engine,disconnecting the spark plugwire and groundingit against
theengine.Alwayswearsafetyglassesduringoperationor while
performinganyadjustmentsor repairs.
1. Alwaysobservethe safety ruleswhenperforming any mainte-
nance.
2. The warrantyon this log splitterdoesnotcover itemsthat have
been subjectedto operatorabuseor negligence.Toreceivefull
valuefrom the warranty, t he operatormust maintainthe equip-
ment as instructedin this manual.
3. Someadjustmentswill needto be madeperiodicallyto maintain
yourequipmentproperly.
4. Followthe maintenanceschedule(Figure 17).
