Troubleshooting

WARNING!
All the following maintenance operations have to be performed by a mechanic.
FAULT
The rake does not work.
The rake has no power
The rakes work too slowly or
jam
NOTE
If the above remedies do not solve the problem, contact an Authorized Service Point.

6 MAINTENANCE

6.1

Routine maintenance

WARNING!
Before carrying out any maintenance operation, disconnect the tool from the compressed air hose.
All the maintenance operations which are not described in this manual have to be performed in a
Authorized Service Point.
The ordinary maintenance operations may be carried out by the operators.
6.1.1

Lubrication

Lubricate the junction mesh (3) of the rake with spray grease.
Periodically check the oil level in the lubricator of the compressor.
WARNING!
Do not use hydraulic oil or oil for braking systems. They may cause irreversible damages.
WARNING!
Do not dispose of oils in the environment, but dispose of them in accordance with the laws in force in the
country of use.
6.2

Special maintenance

6.2.1

General

Before any maintenance operation:
Disconnect the compressed air hose.
WARNING!
Any special maintenance operation shall be performed in a CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Authorised Service Point.
6.2.2

Removing the teeth support

Perform the steps in the order given below:
With the tool clamped in the vice, pry it with a screwdriver removing the spring clip (8), remove the junction
mesh (3), unscrew the self-locking nut (7) and remove the stud screw (5).
Replace they tines support, if necessary.
Perform the steps in reverse order to reassemble the parts.

CAUSE
• The air fl ow regulator on the
compressor is closed.
• The air hose is clogged.
• The air supply hose is dirty.
• The compressor pressure is too
low.
• The piston is not lubricated.
• The joints are not lubricated.
RIMEDY
• Set the air flow regulator to 6 bar.
• Disconnect the air hose and make
sure the fi ttings are in perfect condition
and clean inside.
• Disconnect the supply hose and blow
in compressed air to remove any dirt.
• Make sure the compressor reaches 6
bar.
• Check the oil level in the compressor
lubricator.
• Take the machine to a center
