Troubleshooting
If it smells
With correct installation and correct use of our Villa-models, and thanks to the well-developed
urine diverting and its constants air flow, the bathroom remains odorless. In the case of odors
occurring, please check the following:
1.
Is the fan running properly? If the fan is not running properly, make sure that:
•
Power is being supplied by the power source
•
The fan plug is properly connected
•
The cables on the back are properly connected
2.
Is the ventilation grid on the pipe cap clean?
3.
Is the insect net of the ventilation outlet clean?
4.
Are the joints of the ventilation pipe and the urine drain properly sealed with silicone?
5.
Does the piping follow the instructions?
6.
If there is a floor drain, check that it has a proper water trap
Problems with insects in the toilet
Any additional material, such as, sawdust, must not be used in the waste container as it can
contain insect eggs and attract insects. We only recommend the use of Separett Absorb (art no.
1060) to reduce moisture and odors. If you still have problems with insects in the toilet, check
following:
1.
Make sure that the insects net in intact, and firmly attached to the ventilation pipe
2.
Make sure that the ventilation pipe is intact, and its joints are tight and sealed

We recommend that you use the following accessories and consumables for your urine diverting
toilet.
Urine diverting child seat /

The Child seat is a perfect complement to your urine diverting toilet that enables even the smal-
lest to use the toilet.
Ventilation kit /
Art.nr 1020
A supplementary ventilation kit that can be used if the installation requires ventilation ducts
higher up and/or further away from the toilet. We recommend use of maximum 6 m ventilation
pipes.
Ejektortank /
Art.nr 1013
With an Ejectortank connected, you get organic plant food for the garden. The Ejectortank auto-
matically dilutes the urine to the correct ratio, eight parts water and one part urine, so plants can
absorb the nutrients without harm.
Bio Drain Cleaner 5-pcs /
Art.no 1118
A biological tablet, with a scent of lemon, that is placed in the urine bowl of your urine diverting
toilet. It is slowly broken down and the enzymes keep the urine drain free of deposits that over
time risk stopping the flow. As Bio Drain Cleaner consists of biological ingredients, it does not
therefore affect the possibility of using an Ejectortank.
Compostable Waste bags 10-pcs /
The bag helps to keep the waste container clean and is made of corn starch, which is an environ-
mentally friendly compostable material. For containers up to 35L. The bags are stored dark and
cold, applies to opened and unopened packaging.
Absorb Separett 5-pcs /
Art.nr 1060
Absorb is placed in the bottom of the bag and is used to absorb any moisture from the waste.
The tissue will keep the contents dry and thereby odorless. Absorb is made of a compostable
material and it breaks down with the solid waste in the compost.
Insulated seat 200 /
Art.nr 1215
This insulated seat gives a higher comfort during the coldest time. It is easily fitted on any of our
toilet solution with a hard toilet seat. When needed, the insulated seat can easily be replaced
with a new one.
