Removing steps from the program
1.
Press the main unit SHIFT button to activate shift mode
(SHIFT indicator lit), and press the 1 [PROGRAM] button to
activate program setting mode ("MEM" and the track number
blink). The remote control PROGRAM button can also be
pressed.
2.
Repeat the previous step to activate program checking mode
("MEM" and the program step number blink).
3.
Turn the main unit MULTI JOG dial or use the remote control
.// [l/;] buttons to show the program step number
to be removed.
4.
Press the CLEAR button.
This removes the content of the selected program step num-
ber and shifts the following program step numbers forward.
5.
To remove multiple program steps, repeats steps 2–4 above.
6.
When finished removing steps from the program, press the
main unit PLAY (7) button or remote control 7 button to
start program playback.
Adding steps to the program
1.
Press the main unit SHIFT button to activate shift mode
(SHIFT indicator lit), and press the 1 [PROGRAM] button.
("MEM" and the track number blink.) The remote control
PROGRAM button can also be pressed.
2.
Turn the main unit MULTI JOG dial or use the remote control
.// [l/;] buttons to select a track, and press the main
unit MULTI JOG dial or remote control ENTER button to
assign it.
3.
Repeat these procedures to add multiple tracks.
4.
When finished adding tracks to the program, press the main
unit PLAY (7) button or remote control 7 button to start
program playback.
Clearing the program
1.
Press the main unit SHIFT button to activate shift mode
(SHIFT indicator lit), and press the 1 [PROGRAM] button.
("MEM" and the track number blink.) The remote control
PROGRAM button can also be pressed.
2.
Press and hold the main unit or remote control CLEAR button.
A "Program clear?" message will appear.

Program clear?
3.
Press the main unit MULTI JOG dial or remote control ENTER
button to clear the program.
To cancel program clearing, press the following buttons.
Main unit or remote control CLEAR button
Main unit STOP (8) or remote control 8 button.
NOTE
Any of the following operations will also clear all the tracks from
the program.
i Ejecting the disc
i Turning off or putting the unit into standby
i Switching the source from CD
STOP
