OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Water Jet Hydrotherapy System
After entering your bathing and closing the door, turn the drain shut counterclockwise to close the drain. Fill the bathtub with water above the highest
jet before activating the whirlpool pump.
The water jets are operated by the On/Off push button. First push turns the jets on and second push turns the jets off. Do not push the buttons
repeatedly or rapidly.
The Water Mixture Control is used to add or eliminate air into the water stream being delivered by the whirlpool pump to the hydro jets. Turning it one
direction will allow more air into the water stream and result in a more vigorous massage being provided by the hydro jets. Turning the Water Mixture
Control in the opposite direction will restrict the amount of air being allowed into the water system, resulting in a more gentle massage.
CAUTION:
DO NOT RUN WHIRLPOOL DRY! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE THE JETS UNTIL THE WATER HAS FILLED THE TUB ABOVE THE
LEVEL OF THE HIGHEST JET!
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Water jets and pipe circulation systems
Water jets and pipe circulation systems should be flushed before first use and on a monthly basis when product is under normal use. Below are the
recommended procedures for cleaning:
• Fill the tub with hot water 2-3 inches above the jets and add 2-3 teaspoons of low foaming detergent such as dishwashing machine detergent.
• Turn on jet massage system and run for 10 minutes.
• Drain tub completely.
• Fill tub with cold water above jets.
• Turn on jet massage system and run for 15 minutes.
• Drain tub completely.
• Cleaning the "suction cover": Clean and remove any hair or lint from the suction cover. On a monthly basis, unscrew the suction cover and clean
away any hair, lint or debris from the cover and housing, then remount the cover in place. Some suctions are not designed to be removed; only
suctions that have screws on the cover, visible from the inside of the tub, can be removed.
WARNING:
Never operate the unit with the safety suction cover off.
CAUTION:
Do not run the water jets system dry.
Bathtub body
After each use, rinse all exposed surfaces with warm water, then wipe tub completely dry.
Once a week, wash all exposed surfaces of the bathtub with a mild solution. Oily or greasy spots can be lifted with denatured alcohol.
Door seal
Periodocally wipe down the door seal and door jamb to maintain the integrity of the water seal. In order to keep the door seal and door jamb clean
and not accumulate dirt or debris of any kind, clean seal and jamb with a mild detergent and warm water using a soft cloth.
THE DOOR SHOULD BE LEFT OPEN WHEN THE BATHTUB IS NOT IN USE. This allows the door seal to relax and resume its natural shape and
flexibility.
CAUTION:
Must empty the bathtub and the water in the pipe during the winter use. It is possible that the pipes could freeze, rupturing the pipes or
equipment.
Use no water other than standard tap water. The use of well water or spring water could cause corrosion, which could lead to leaks.
Bathtub should be prevented irradiating by ultraviolet light or bright light, otherwise it will accelerate the aging of surface of the bath.
Keep far away from cigarette butts, hair dryer and other heat sources, the product will be damaged due to contact with high temperature.
Do not strike the surface of the bathtub with hard objects. Doing so could crack or scratch the bathtub or cause leaks that damage
household property.
When the product is in operation do not cut off any connection lines. Doing so may cause product leakage, electric shock, or other
accidents.
WARNING:
The ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) should be tested regularly, it is better to test before each use.
