• After mowing, remove any plant re-
mains that have become stuck to the
wheels, ventilation opening, ejector
opening and blade area using a piece
of wood or plastic. Do not use any
hard or sharp objects as these could
damage the device.
• Check the device before each use for
obvious defects such as loose, worn or
damaged parts. Ensure that all nuts,
bolts and screws are firmly in place.
• Check the covers and protective devic-
es for damage and correct fit. Replace
these if necessary.
• Many accidents are due to poor main-
tenance, cleaning and care.
• The use of non-original spare parts can
lead to accidents.
• Do not dismantle any safety compo-
nents (e.g. impact protection), other-
wise safe use of the machine cannot be
guaranteed.
Replacing blades
If the blade is blunt, it can be re-sharpened
by a specialist company. If the blade is da-
maged or unbalanced, it must be replaced.

1. Turn the machine over or set up the ma-
chine, see chapter "Storage – Setting
up the machine".
2. Use sturdy gloves and keep hold of the
blade (30).
3. Use a spanner (AF 14) to turn the bla-
de bolt (31) counter-clockwise from the
motor spindle.
4. Reassemble the new blade (30) in re-
verse order.
Make sure that the blade (30) is
positioned correctly and that the
blade bolt (31) is tightened.

1. Turn the quick release levers (6) cross-
wise towards the bar.
2. Open the tightening levers (4).
3. Fold the upper bar (1) and the lower
bar (14) together.
Make sure not to pinch the machi-
ne cables while doing this.

1. Turn the quick release levers (6) cross-
wise towards the bar. Gently pull the
quick release levers (6) away from the
lower bar (14).
2. Fold the lower bar (14) onto the machi-
ne housing.
3. Turn the quick release levers (6) back to
their original position.
The quick release levers (6) must
engage in the holes on the machi-
ne housing.
4. Set up the machine.
• Store the device in a dry place out of
reach of children.
• Give the motor time to cool off before
you store the device in an enclosed
space.
• Remove the rechargeable battery
before storing the device for a long pe-
riod of time (e.g. winter storage).
• The storage temperature for the re-
chargeable battery and the device is
between 0°C and 45°C. Avoid extreme
cold or heat during storage to ensure
the battery output is not adversely af-
fected.
