BATTERY PROTECTION MODE
While the cooler is running, press and hold the settings
button for three seconds until the screen flashes.
Press the settings button again to select protection mode
H (high), M (medium) or L (low). Factory setting is H (high).
NOTE: Set battery protection mode to H when the cooler is
connected to the 12V auto accessory port. M and L should
be set when the cooler is connected to a portable battery
or other battery back-up devices.

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
Press (+) to increase the temperature setting.
Press (-) to decrease the temperature setting.
NOTE: The setting will be saved automatically after opera-
tion ends for three seconds.
NOTE: The temperature displayed is the current temperature
inside the cooler. It will take a while to reach the set tempera-
ture. Temperature setting range is -4°F to 68°F.

To select cooling modes:
Press the settings button to select MAX for fast cooling.
Press the settings button to select ECO for energy sav-
ing mode.
NOTE: The default setting is MAX.
To select temperature unit:
Turn the cooler off.
Press and hold the settings button for three seconds until
E1 displays on the control panel.
Switch to E5 by pressing the settings button again.
While in E5 mode, press the (+) or (-) buttons to select
Fahrenheit or Celsius.
NOTE: The default setting is Fahrenheit.
To reset to default settings:
Turn the cooler off.

Press and hold the settings button for three seconds until
E1 displays on the control panel.
While in E1 mode, press the (+) and (-) buttons at the
same time and hold for three seconds to reset.
FILLING THE COOLER
See Figure 7.
The cooler has a 24 quart capacity.
WARNING:
Never use dry ice in the cooler. Use only ice made
from clean water. Contact with dry ice can cause serious
personal injury and damage the unit. Dry ice can also
displace oxygen and cause a suffocation hazard.
Make sure the drain plug is securely in place.
Open the cooler lid and add desired food and/or bever-
ages.
Securely close the cooler lid.
NOTE: For best performance, do not overfill the cooler
preventing the lid from closing securely.
WARNING:
Be sure to keep fingers out of the way when closing the
lid. Closing the lid on fingers or getting them too close
to the hinge area can cause a pinch hazard and result in
serious personal injury.
DRAINING THE COOLER
See Figure 8.

WARNING:
Be careful not to spill water when draining the cooler. Do
not empty water on a walkway and only empty in an area
that will not cause a slip and fall hazard. Spilled or leaking
water can result in a slippery surface, create a slip and
fall hazard, and cause property damage.
Move the cooler to an appropriate area for draining the
unit.
Remove the drain plug and allow all water to drain out.
Reinstall the drain plug.
WARNING:
Always completely drain water and thoroughly dry the
cooler after use to prevent the possible formation of
bacteria or mold. Using a cooler that contains bacteria
or mold can result in serious personal injury or illness.
