If the cable is too long, the electrical
power may decrease, causing a
welding quality reduction. The voltage
must be stable while welding.
It is not recommended the use of
extension cords to connect the power
cables. However, in the event of using
an extension cord, some precautions
must be considered:
 If using this machine outdoors, use
only suitable extension cords for
outdoor use. Using a proper extension
cord reduces de risk of electric shock;
 Use only extension cords with 3
cables, plugs and sockets with earth
connection;
 The extension cable section must be
proportional to the length and have
equal or higher characteristics to this
equipment's power cord;
 Do not use damaged extension cords.
Check them before using and replace
if necessary;
 Always unplug the extension cord
from the socket before removing the
inverter's power cable;
 When it's an extension cord reel, unroll
the entire cable;
2.3 - BEFORE OPERATING
Make sure that the inverter is only used
by who is familiar with the instruction
manual. The welding operations must
be carried by a qualified person and
conscious about the safety rules.

other inflammable components in the
working area.
Make sure the surrounding air is free of
high dust concentrations, acid steam,
gases or flammable substances. It is
recommended special care during
repairing works in the pipes and basins
that contain or have been in touch with
flammable liquids or gases.

To ensure a safe operation, you must:
 Check the power tool before using
it. Check that all the accessories are
correctly assembled and attached to
the machine and in good conditions.
Never use damaged accessories;
 Replace defective or damaged parts
and every other parts in the same
conditions;
 Check if the safety devices are
in perfect conditions and working
correctly. Never use the machine if
any safety device is missing, inhibited,
damaged or worn;
Perform all the needed adjustments
and in case of doubts ask your
distributor for assistance.
2.4 - WHILE OPERATING
Keep other people away from
the working area. Never use the
inverter
particularly children, are nearby.
Keep the working area clean, organized
and well illuminated (brightness from
250 to 300 lux), in order to reduce
the risk of accidents.
To avoid all the hazards associated
with
welding
protective equipment must always
be worn. Wearing approved and
certified welding masks with protective
spectacle lenses or safety goggles with
side shield, long sleeve clothing, safety
shoes, gloves and a leather apron,
breathing protection masks and hearing
protection under proper conditions,

reduces the risk of injuries.
and
Throughout the welding process, or
its supervision, always wear protective
masks. Do not look straight at the light
beam; wear a welding mask with a
proper protective lens. Do not perform
welding works without the protective
mask.
Do not wear contact lenses while
welding.

Install a proper gases and steam
extraction device when performing
welding works for long periods of time
and in the same area. Wear breathing
protection if there is the risk of inhaling
welding steam.
In
indoor
spaces,
environments and high electrical risk
areas, only equipments with the symbol
can be operated. Equipments with
this safety sign are appropriate to
welding works in areas with greater risk
of electric shock.
To avoid the risk of overheating, keep
the ventilation openings clean and
unobstructed to ensure air flow. Do not
expose the inverter to the sun and do
not cover it while operating.
Avoid using the machine on surfaces
coated with paints containing lead or
other materials harmful to health. Any
contact or inhalation of dust may cause
allergic reactions and / or breathing
diseases.
During welding works, be careful
with the sparks projection and weld
splatters that might cause a fire. Always
have a fire extinguisher in the working
area while welding.
To ensure a safe operation, you must:
 Welding equipments generate high
voltage. Do not touch the electrode,
the welding electrodes holder or the
working piece while the inverter is
switched on. Electric shocks can kill;
 Before using it, check the power
cable isolation, the working cables
and connected accessories to prevent
electric shocks;
 Welding smoke and steam may be
harmful to health. To avoid this hazards,
the user must provide a ventilation or
extraction system capable of keeping
smoke and steam away from the
breathing area;
 The electric arcs rays produce visible
and invisible intense radiations that
