2. GENERAL USE &
SAFETY WARNINGS
While
using
equipment,
several
safety precautions must always be
followed in order to reduce the risk
of fire, electric shock and personal
injuries.
Read and understand the
manual prior to operating this
tiller. Save these instructions and
other documents supplied with this
machine for future reference.
2.1 - GENERAL
These
preventive
measures
essential for your safety. Always use
this machine with care in a responsible
manner having in consideration that
its user is responsible for eventual
accidents caused to third parties or
their goods.
Make sure that all individuals using this
tool have had the necessary training
and have read and fully understand
these operating instructions. Before
operating it for the first time, its user
must be instructed by the vendor
or a competent person about its
functionalities.
This instruction manual is an integral
part of the tool and must always be
provided.
Get familiar with the equipment's
control devices and operation. The user
must know how to stop the equipment
immediately.
Always pay attention when operating an
electric tool. A moment of inattention
may result in serious injuries.
Use this equipment only if you are in
good physical and mental conditions.
Do not use it if you are tired or under
the influence of alcohol, drugs or
medication. If you suffer from any

2.2 - ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Do not use electrical tools in an
explosive
especially in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or dusts. Any power tool
may form sparks that might ignite
liquids, gases, or dust.
Welding tools may cause several
failures in the electrical grid due to its
high energy consumption. Using this
equipment in residential areas might
cause other equipment's failure.
When
using
electromagnetic problems may occur
in:
environment,
the
inverter,
some
Power
cables,
pilot
telecommunication and signal cables
near the inverter;
� TV and radio transmitter and receiver;
� Computers and other control units;
� Protection
devices in commercial
equipments (for ex. alarm installation);
� Pacemakers and hearing aids;
� Calibrating or measuring devices;
� In too low interference and resistance
equipments;
The
power
voltage
frequency
must
technical specifications and the power
tool must have earth connection.
The power cable must be plugged into
an electrical outlet with a differential
protection and earth connection. The
differential switch associated to the
power circuit must be prepared to
trigger if a 30mA maximum default
current occurs.
Do not expose any power tools to
rain or use them in wet or damp
environments. The presence of water
in an electric tool increases the risk of
damage and electric shock to the user.
Never use the power cable to pull,
carry or unplug the tool. Damaged
power cables increase the risk of
electric shock.
Keep the power cable and plug away
from heat sources, oil and sharp
objects.
If the power cable is damaged, it must
be replaced by a qualified technician. It
is not allowed to repair it. Do not touch
it and unplug the plug from the socket
immediately. Never use the inverter if
the power cable is damaged.
