Connecting the blinds (only for powered blinds)
The electrical power supply must be connected by a qualified electrician
who has demonstrated skill and knowledge related to the construction
and operation of electrical equipment and installations, and who is famil-
iar with the applicable regulations of the country in which the equipment
is to be installed and/or used, and has received safety training to identify
and avoid the hazards involved.
The powered blinds are available for a connection to a 12/24 Vg power supply. The
product label on the motor provides important information on the specifications of
the motor specific to the blind.
The following notes must be observed when connecting the blinds:
• Ensure cables are not damaged during installation. Routings of cables through
walls or bulkheads must be protected and insulated by appropriate bushing,
grommets or cable conduits.
• Ensure that a 12 V or 24 V stabilized power supply line is available for the drive at
the point of installation. The power supply line is suitably arranged and pro-
tected.
• The product must be connected to the correct power supply as specified on the
product label. The motor in the product is designed to cut out when a set current
is exceeded but the supply should be fused to protect the wiring to the product.
• Secure all cables to prevent any contact with moving parts.
• Only use power supply units and control elements recommended by the manu-
facturer to prevent damage or faults during operation caused by incompatible
electrical components.
• Control devices (e.g. switches) must be installed in visible locations.
➤ Connect the motor as shown in the wiring diagrams.

NOTE
Stops can only be set if using a motor of type HD TM24. Others require
