Phillips Head Screwdriver, Wood Glue, Mallet or Padded Hammer, Tape Measure.
We recommend fi nishing the unit before fi nal assembly.
1. Apply a thin film of glue in the dowel holes of the Left Side Assembly (Bb). Attach Sleepers (D) and
Top Sleeper (E) to Left Side Assembly (Bb). NOTE: Pocket Screw Holes on the two rear sleepers
(D) should face the outside or back of the item. Proper orientation of these two parts is critical
to prevent the #8x1-1/4" Pan Head Screws from penetrating the back sides of the rear legs.
Gently tap with mallet and using a damp rag, quickly wipe away any excess glue. Insert #8x1-1/4"
Pan Head Screws (Nb) through sleepers and into Left Side Assembly (Bb). See Figure 1.

2. Apply a thin film of glue in the dowel holes of the Right Side Assembly (Cb) and attach to Sleepers
(D & E). Gently tap with a mallet and quickly wipe away any excess glue. Insert #8x1-1/4" Pan Head
Screw (Nb) through each Sleeper and into side assembly. See Figure 2.
