TEST RUN AND FAULT CODE
Before Test Run
• Connect it to the power supply of the outdoor units to energize the sump heater in the compressor. Power it on 12
hours prior to startup and operation.
Check the connections at the drainpipe and wire connection lines to make sure they are correct.
• The drainpipe shall be placed at the lower part while the connection lines are placed at the upper part. Insulating should
be applied to drainpipes especially on the indoor units to avoid condensation issues.
• The drain pipe should be installed so it slopes away from the unit.
Checkup of Installation
• Check the main power connections for proper voltage balance.
• Check for any leaks at the piping joints.
• Check the power connections at the main power for the indoor & outdoor units.
• Check if the unit locations conform to installation guidelines.
• Check for excessive noise.
• Check if connection of the wiring is fastened.
• Check if the refrigerant and condensation lines are insulated.
• Check if the condensate drains are terminated properly.
• Check if the indoor units are positioned properly.
Test Run
• Ask the installation technician to perform a run test. Make sure the testing procedures is according to the manual and
check if the temperature controls work properly.
• The following procedure can be used to force compulsive running mode if the machine fails to start due to room
temperature. The function is not available for model types with remote control.
of the system.
