Check that the float system is working properly. In
particular, the float must slide freely inside the
guide basket. On machines equipped with a
cartridge filter, you must dismantle the filter to
access the float system.
The guide basket is wedged on the base, it can
therefore be dismantled easily without tools.
Always clean the float system after vacuuming
liquids.
Never vacuum liquids without the float
system in place and if it is not working
properly.
If foam forms while vacuuming liquids and starts
coming out of the vacuum cleaner head, stop all
operations immediately and disconnect the
machine from the electrical mains.
Always use a chemical anti-foaming agent
recommended by the detergent manufacturer.
Before emptying the container, disconnect the
vacuum cleaner from the power socket.
Disconnect the hose from the inlet nozzle by
pulling it outwards. Separate the vacuum cleaner
head from the drum. Empty the container by tilting
it backwards and pour the liquids into a floor drain
or similar.
4.2 Vacuuming dry materials
Remove the electric plug from the socket before
emptying the vacuum cleaner after vacuuming dry
materials.
Check the filters and dust collection bag regularly.
Release the locking device by pulling it outwards in
order to free the upper part of the machine. Open
the upper part of the motor from the container.
If a collection bag is used, check how full it is.
Replace the dust collection bag if necessary.
If the bag is not used, shake or brush the bag filter
or the cartridge filter.
After shaking: close the upper part of the machine
on the container and fasten it with the release
clips.
Never vacuum dry material without the
cartridge filter or bag filter (and possibly
the dust collection bag as well) mounted in
the appliance.
The vacuuming efficiency of the vacuum cleaner
depends on the size and quality of the filter and
dust collection bag, therefore only use original
filters and dust collection bags.
