SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read this instructions and maintenance manual for the device carefully
before using it.
• Unpack the device carefully, and check it is in a perfect state. Should there
be any defect or damage, do not install or try to repair. Immediately contact
your usual supplier or an S&P technical service agent.
• Do not leave the packaging within the reach of children, and recycle it in
line with current dispositions.
• If the cable gets damaged it must be replaced by S&P – take the equip-
ment to our offi cial S&P dealer because the work must be done by specia-
list personnel to avoid any risk of damage.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of ex-
perience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children should not play with the product.
• Do not hang the device on the wall or from the ceiling.
• Do not use this device in bathrooms or shower rooms, or close to swim-
ming pools.
• Do not submerge the device in water.
• Do not touch the device with wet or damp hands or feet, and do not pull
on the power supply cable.
• Before connecting the device to the electricity supply, ensure it is halted
and that the grid voltage corresponds to that shown on the data plate of
the device.
• Disconnect the device when not in use or when carrying out cleaning work.
• Do not introduce any objects through the protection grille.
• Do not use this device if the protection grille is in a poor state or is inco-
rrectly positioned.
• Cleaning and maintenance to perform by the user not be made by children
without supervision.
ASSEMBLY
• Position the counterweight in the foot base.
• Secure the base of the column to the foot base using the supplied screws (Fig. 1).
• Loosen the fi xing ring in order to move the interior tube to reach the required height. Then
tighten the fi xing ring again, in order for the telescopic tube to be maintained at the required
height.
• Insert the motor equipment and support tube in the telescopic tube using the clamp (Fig. 1).
