Heat setting
The griddle is not designed for high heat usage. Higher temperatures will damage the non-stick coating over time.
Cleaning
To avoid injuries and damaging the griddle, always wait until the griddle has cooled down before washing or soaking it
water.
Oven Operation
Oven Ignition
This oven is powerful. It can reach 350°F in approximately 7 to 10 minutes, since the flame is ON throughout the
entire usage of the oven. This oven is not equipped with an automatic re-ignition system that will cycle ON and
OFF throughout your cooking. Read the following information to learn more about the oven analog-like operating
system.
When using the oven, push and turn the oven knob counter-clockwise to the desired temperature (ex: 325°F) and
hold until the oven burner ignites. As it ignites, wait 5 to 10 seconds before releasing the knob. Note that the flame
will be large for the whole preheating process. Once preheated, the flame will automatically decrease in size,
indicating the oven is ready for cooking. Open the door, place the food inside the oven and wait until the flame is
visibly larger before closing back the door (this may take 8 to 10 seconds).
The above steps are outlined due to the thermo-cut-off safety mechanism in which the safety device must always
remain in contact with the flame in order for it to stay ignited. When the flame is large the contact is strong.
