4.2 ATTACH THE GUARD

WARNING
Do not touch the cut-off blade.
1. Pull the edge guide until the open end on the slot.
2. Remove the screw from the guard with a Phillips head
screwdriver (not included).
3. Put the guard onto the trimmer head.
4. Align the screw hole on the guard with the screw hole on
the trimmer head.
5. Tighten the screw.
4.3 ATTACH THE WHEEL

1. Remove the screw from the wheel with a Phillips head
screwdriver (not included).
2. Put the wheel onto the trimmer head.
3. Align the screw hole on the wheel with the screw hole on
the trimmer head.
4. Tighten the screw.
4.4 ATTACH THE AUXILIARY
HANDLE

1. Remove the knob from the handle.
2. Attach the auxiliary handle on the shaft.
3. Set the auxiliary handle in the comfortable position.
4. Tighten the auxiliary handle with the knob.
5 OPERATION
IMPORTANT
Before you operate the machine, read and understand the
safety regulations and the operation instructions.
WARNING
Be careful when you operate the machine.
5.1 INSTALL THE BATTERY PACK

WARNING
• If the battery pack or charger is damaged, replace the
battery pack or the charger.
• Stop the machine and wait until the motor stops before
you install or remove the battery pack.
• Read, understand, and follow the instructions in the
battery and charger manual.

1. Align the lift ribs on the battery pack with the grooves in
the battery compartment.
2. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment until
the battery pack locks into place.
3. When you hear a click, the battery pack is installed.
5.2 REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK

1. Push and hold the battery release button.
2. Remove the battery pack from the machine.
5.3 START THE MACHINE

1. Push the lock-out button and pull the trigger.

1. Release the trigger to stop the machine.
5.5 ADJUST THE LENGTH OF THE
CUTTING LINE

The machine has an auto-feed head. If the cutting line does
not automatically advance, it can be tangled or empty.
1. Start the machine and keep 3s. Release the trigger until
the machine totally stops.
2. Repeat the above step until you can hear the line-cutting
noise.
The line will extend approximately 1 cm with each stop and
start of the switch trigger until the line reaches the cut-off
blade and the cut-off blade cuts the excess length.
Do not pull or release the trigger too fast.
It will damage the machine if you hit the head to try to
advance the line.
5.6 LINE CUT-OFF BLADE

This trimmer is equipped with a line cut-off blade on the
guard. The line cut off blade continuously trims the line to
ensure a consistent and efficient cut diameter. Advance line
whenever you hear the engine running faster than normal, or
