Electricity and Heat
1.
Before use, check that the mains power supply voltage is the same and the voltage is the same as the volta-
ge indicated on the appliance. Always plug the appliance into an earthed plug socket.
2.
Regularly check the power cord for damage.
3.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
4.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is drop-
ped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to manufacturer or the nearest authorized service agent
for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
5.
To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do not pull the power cord.
6.
Make sure the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces or steam.
7.
Always remove the plug from the plug socket before you move the appliance.
8.
The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer switch or by means of a separate sys-
tem with remote control.
9.
If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 10 ampere cord should be used. Cords rated for less amperage
may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
10. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high voltage appliance on the same circuit.
11.
To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or housing in water or other liquid.
12.
Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and
do not use it again.
13. Do not use the appliance close to hot objects such as a stove or oven.
Hints on Use
1.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shop, offices and other working environment; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residen-
tial type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.

The use of accessory attachment not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
3.
Only use the appliance indoors, in dry areas away from water. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
use the appliance outdoors or on wet surfaces. Place the appliance on a stable, level surface from which
it cannot fall of. Use the appliance on a flat, dry and heat resistance surface, not on varnished furniture.
4.
Place the appliance at least 5cm of the wall or flammable objects (such as curtains, candles or towels).
5.
Disconnect the mains plug: after each time operating; if there is any interference with operation; before cleaning.
6.
Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.
7.
Children are unable to recognize the hazards associated with incorrect handling of electrical appliances.
Therefore, children should never use electric household appliances unsupervised. Close supervision is ne-
cessary for any appliance being used by or near children. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
8.
It is necessary to keep this appliance clean because it is in direct contact with food.
9.
This appliance is not suitable for chopping up extremely hard products (e. g. nutmegs, coffee beans or cereals).
10. The appliance is not a meat grinder! The appliance is not suitable for chopping up meat.
11.
Keep your head, hands, hair, jewellery and clothing away from rotating parts of the appliance.
12. Do not reach into the feed tube to push food further down. Only use the plunger to push food further
down. The blades and edges of the cutters are sharp! Be careful when changing the cutters. Switch off the
appliance before inserting or removing the cutters.
13. During operation of the appliance, do not place any objects (spoons, knives etc.) into the feed tube or into
the rotating cutters. The appliance is not suitable for constant use. Do not operate the appliance for more
than 2 minutes without interruption. Do not operate the appliance for a lengthy period without food.
