7. Connect the unit to a proper grounded power source.
8. Make sure that the disc cleaning system works
properly. To do this, turn on the main switch in the
upper part of the unit. The trimmer will start up and
the electro-valve that monitors the inlet water flow
will open.
9. Then open the water stopcock and select the desired
flow by means of the tap knob of the trimmer. After
a few minutes of operation, make sure there is no
leak in the pipe and hose connections.
OPERATION OF THE UNIT
1. Adjust the table (B) with the knob (E), according to
the type of work. Once the working position has
been selected, screw the locknut (C) up as far as it
goes to fix the table.
2. If you want to trim at a vertical 90º angle, align the
lower edge of the table with the edge of the casing:

4. Turn on the main switch placed in the upper part of
the unit. The motor will start up and the operation
light (E) will lit up.
5. Open the water stopcock. Then use the tap knob of
the trimmer (G) to obtain the desired water flow.
6. Place the model to be trimmed on the table (B). For
a greater precision while trimming, the table has a
set of marks to be used as reference to determinate
the cutting angles.
7. When the work is over, turn the main switch off.
8. After operating the trimmer, it is strongly
recommended to clean the table and the front casing
with a dump cloth to remove the remains of plaster.

ALUMINIUM PLATE MAINTENANCE
If plaster accumulates in the back of the aluminum plate,
then the machine could vibrate. Then proceed to clean as
follows:
1. Open the lock (F) and the front cover. The safety
micro-switch will prevent an eventual start-up of the
motor. For extra safety, disconnect the unit from the
power source and close the water stopcock.
2. Remove the abrasive disc.
3. Use the Allen spanner to unscrew the bolt that fixes
the disc to the motor shaft.
4. Remove the extraction bolt from the back of the unit
and screw it up in the middle of the plate. Then pull
the screw and extract the plate.
5. Dip the plate in water, remove the plaster with a
brush and dry.
6. When you place the plate again, do not forget the
pin that couples it to the motor.
ABRASIVE DISC REPLACEMENT

When the abrasive element tears or wears out it must be
replaced. MESTRA spare-parts should be always used,
since they are the only ones that assure a perfect balance
of the unit and top quality. To replace the disc, proceed
as follows:
1. Open the lock (F) and the front cover. The safety
micro-switch will prevent an eventual start-up of the
motor.
2. Remove the worn out disc and place a new one.
Make sure it is properly centered.
3. Close the cover again, making sure the lock (F) is
properly closed.
