Using the IPM-400 to Read (cont'd)

Read Resistance

This function measures resistance from 0.00 Ω to 1000 Ω.
1. Turn the Selector knob to
2. Connect the black and red leads to the meter as shown.
3. Press the DISPLAY/SOURCE/READ button until "READ" or "CONTINUITY" appears.
4. Press the TYPE/ENG UNITS button to select "READ".
5. Disconnect one or both input wires from the device being calibrated.
6. Connect the red (+) lead and the black (–) lead of the meter across the resistance to be
measured.
7. Use the toggle switch to view the maximum and minimum values.
Signals above or below those available for the currently selected range are indicated by
"– – – –", "OVER", or "UNDER".
