children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance
7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons, including
children, with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instructions concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
8. Never feed by hand and always use the Food Pusher.
9. Do not put your fingers or other objects into the Food
Processor Attachment opening or discharge chute while it is in
operation. If food becomes lodged in opening or discharge
chute, use pusher or another piece of fruit or vegetable to push
it down or remove. When this method is not possible, turn the
motor off and disassemble the Food Processor Attachment to
remove the remaining food.
10. Avoid contacting moving parts.
11. The use of attachments/accessories not recommended or sold
by KitchenAid may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
12. Do not use outdoors.
13. Do not use the appliance if the driver mechanism or rotating
parts are damaged. Return appliance to the nearest Authorised
Service Facility for examination, repair, or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
14. Do not let the Stand Mixer cord hang over the edge of table or
counter.
15. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation.
16. Keep hands and utensils away from moving Blades or Discs
while processing food to reduce the risk of severe injury to
persons or damage to the Food Processor Attachment.
17. Blades are sharp. Care should be taken when handling the
sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl, and during cleaning.
18. Do not remove the Lid until Discs or Blades stop.
19. Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism.
20. To avoid damaging the gear assembly, do not immerse Food
Processor Attachment Assembly in water or other liquids.
