1. On the top of the dial housing is an oval hole.
Insert the Allen key into the hole and into the
head of the tensioning screw.
2. Turn the tensioning screw slightly in a
clockwise direction unitl the pointer is at zero.
Note that the screw is intentionally stiff.
3. Use the Manoskop
watch to see if the pointer returns to exact
zero after use. If so, your Manoskop
fully functional again.
4. If you have turned the tensioning screw too far
by mistake, turn the screw in a
counterclockwise direction until the pointer is
just below zero and repeat steps 2 and 3.
3. The wrench is not under load and the
pointer is more than one pointer thickness
over or below zero
This indicates that the
wrench is faulty. Do not
use the wrench in this
state as its accuracy can
no longer be guaranteed.
Return the wrench to your
STAHLWILLE dealer for
repair and resetting before
you use it again.
