Jumpers located on the back of the drive (between the SCSI
interface and power connectors) are used to configure the
SCSI ID, parity checking, and termination power. Other drive
features are set using a bank of dip-switches on the
underside of the drive.
Default settings
The default drive settings for the Scorpion 40 are listed below:

Jumper settings
Configuration jumpers on the back of the drive are used to
control the drive's SCSI ID, parity checking, and SCSI
terminator power. The jumpers can also be used for remote
SCSI address selection. Figure 1 on the following page shows
the locations of the jumper blocks for the internal Scorpion 40.
