6. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT
• Insert the black test probe into the "COM" connector, the red one into
the "INPUT" connector.
• Set the function switch in an adequate DC power range. Connect the test
probes trough the circuit to be tested. Polarity and voltage of the point
to which the red test probe is connected is shown in. the LCD.
NOTE
1. If the measured current is unknown beforehand, set the functions switch
in the highest range. Then, switch to the adequate range according to
the value shown.
2. If the LCD shows "OL", means it is above range. Switch the functions
switch into a higher range.
MEASURING AC CURRENT
• Insert the black test probe into the "COM" connector and the red one
into the "INPUT" connector.
• Set the functions switch into the adequate AC current range. Connect
the test probes through the circuit being tested.
• Start the motor. Read the display reading. Divide the reading between
the number of cylinders. The result is the turn speed. (tachometer).
7. AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF AND TURNING ON THE
LCD LIGHT
• After being turned on, the LCD shows "APO", meaning the multimeter
in in automatic power off mode. When the multimeter automatically
shuts off, press the "HOLD" button to turn it on.
• Press briefly the "HOLD" button to turn off / turn on the "HOLD"
function. Press the "HOLD" button longer to turn off / turn on the
background light.
8. FUSE AND BATTERY REPLACEMENT
If the
sign appears in the display, it means replace battery. Remove
the screws and open the housing in the back. Replace the low battery
and set a new one.
Using automatic recuperation fuses after eliminating the external fault,
returns the fuse to normal and the multimeter can be used normally.
There is no need to replace the fuse.
Range 20 A has a fast fusion 20 A / 250 V fuse.
Replace the fuse according to specifications: 20 A; 250 V; FAST; Min;
Interrupt Rating 20 000 A; diameter 5 mm x 20 mm
Use 1,9 V DC, Carbon-Zinc battery (included).
To prevent false readings which lead to electric shock or personal injuries,
replace the battery as soon as the indicator symbol
To prevent damage and injuries, install only spare fuses with the ampere
levels, voltage and interruption specified.

1. If the measured current is unknown beforehand, set the functions
switch in the highest range. Then, switch into the adequate range
according to the value shown.
2. If the LCD shows "OL", means it is above range. Switch the functions
switch into a higher range.
MEASURING DC CURRENT
• Insert the black test probe into the "COM" connector and the res one
into "mA" connector. (Maximum 200 mA) or insert the red one into the
"20 A" connector (maximum 20 A).
• Set the function switch into the adequate DC current range. Connect
the test probes through the circuit to be measured. The current value
and polarity in the point to which the red probe is connected is shown
in the LCD.
1. If th measured current is unknown beforehand, set the functions switch
in the highest range. Then, switch into the adequate range according to
the value shown.
2. If the LCD shows "OL", means it is above range. Switch the functions
switch into a higher range.
3. When measuring 20 A. The continuous measurement of high current
may heat the circuit, affect precision and damage the multimeter.
MEASURING AC CURRENT
• Insert the black test probe into the "COM" connector and the red one
into the "mA" connector (maximum 200 mA), or insert the red test
probe into "20 A" connector (maximum 20 A).
• Set the functions switch into the adequate AC current range. Connect
the test probes through the circuit being tested.

switch in the highest range. Then, switch into the adequate range
according to the value shown.
2. If the LCD shows "OL", means it is above range. Switch the functions
switch into a higher range.
3. Pay attention when measuring 20 A. The continuous measurement of
high current may heat the circuit, affect precision and damage the
multimeter.
MEASURING RESISTANCE
• Insert the black test probe into the "COM" connector and the red one
into "INPUT" connector.
Disconnect the test probes before opening the batteries back cover.
1. Changing battery and fuse shall only be carried out after the test
probes are disconnected and the device id off.
2. Using the right screwdriver, loosen the screws and remove the lower
part of the housing.
3. The multimeter uses a 9 V DC battery. Remove the tips from the
battery connector from the terminals in. the new battery. Reinsert
the battery in the housing cover. Arrange the new battery tips to
avoid getting jammed in the housing bottom.
