Storage
• Store the device in a dry, frost-free place (10-25 °C).
• Store the battery and the device separately.
• Charge the battery before storing the device in winter.
• For a prolonged period of non-use, drain the chain
lubricating oil out of the power tool.
• Place the sheath on the cutting mechanism.
• Keep the device, particularly its plastic components, away from
brake fluids, petrol, petroleum products, penetrating oil, etc. They
contain chemical substances which may damage, attack or
destroy the plastic components of the device.
• Fertilisers and other garden chemicals contain substances which
may have a highly corrosive effect on the metal parts of the device.
Therefore do not store your device near these substances.
Repairs
Check the device for damage. Repairs may be carried out by an authorised customer service
centre only.
