Some LPG dealers may fill the gas cylinder that can be used with the grill above the
actual maximum capacity. This "overfilling" can create a dangerous situation, since the
"overfilling" can cause overpressure in the container. As a backup, the tank's pressure
relief valve will release gas to relieve pressure. This "steam" is combustible and highly
flammable. To minimise this risk, you should follow the safety measures below:
1. When you have the container filled, tell the seller to fill it to a maximum of 80 % of
the maximum capacity.
2. If you own or use an additional container, or have an unconnected container, you
should never store it near or under the grill or warmer or near any other ignition or
heat source.
• Check the gas connection for leaks with soapy water.
• The top cover of the grill must always be open when lighting the burner.
• Use protective gloves and sturdy and long grilling tools when cooking on the grill.
• Be prepared for an accident or fire. You should know where the first aid kit and fire
extinguisher are and how to use them.
• Keep a fire extinguisher within reach.
• Do not reheat unopened glass or metal containers on the grill. Pressure can build
up inside the container, which could cause the container to explode. This could
potentially result in property damage and/or personal injury.
• The gas grill becomes very hot during use. Use protective gloves.
• Keep the power cord and fuel supply hose away from all hot surfaces.
• Be careful when grilling.
ENERGY SAVING TIPS
• Only open the grill lid for as long as necessary.
• Turn off the grill once you have cooked all the food.
• Preheat the gas grill for a maximum of 10-15 minutes (except for the first use).
• Do not preheat the grill longer than recommended.
• Do not set the grill hotter than necessary.
• Connect the hose and regulator to the container located on the left side of the gas
grill. Make sure the container is in a safe position away from any heat source. The
diameter of the hose is 8-10 mm. The hose length should not be more than 1.5
metres.
