Cleaning and maintenance

Always unplug the device before working
on it.
Always keep the device and the ventilation holes
clean.
The blade guard must always move freely and allow
itself to be closed independently. Therefore always
keep the blade guard area clean. Remove dust and
shavings using compressed air or a brush.
Unlaminated blades can be protected from corro-
sion with a thin coating of acid-free oil. Remove the
oil before use, or the wood will be stained.
Resin and glue residue on the blade results in
a bad cut. Therefore clean the blade immediately
after use.
If — in spite of meticulous manufacturing and test-
ing processes — the device breaks down, have it
serviced by a Würth master technician. In Germany,
you can call Würth master service free of charge
at 0800-WMASTER (0800-962 78 37). In Austria,
call 0800-20 30 13.
For all queries or replacement part orders, please
have your device's item number ready. It can be
found on the model identifi cation plate.
The current list of replacement parts is on the Inter-
net at http://www.wuerth.com/partsmanager, or you
can request it from your nearest Würth subsidiary.

Total vibration values (triax vector sum) determined
according to EN 60745:
Vibration emission value = 2.1 m/s
Uncertainty K = 1.5 m/s
The vibration level given in this manual has been
determined according to a measurement process
standardised in EN 60745 and can be used for
comparing power tools with one another. It is also
suitable for preliminary assessment of vibration
stress.
The vibration level shown represents the power
tool's primary applications. The vibration level can
vary if the power tool is used for other applications,
with various attachments or with insuffi cient mainte-
nance. This can considerably increase the vibration
stress over the total period of use.
For a precise assessment of the vibration stress,
one should also consider the times during which the
device is switched off or is running but is not actually
in use. This can considerably reduce the vibration
stress over the total period of use.
Determine the additional safety measures neces-
sary to protect the operator from the effects of
vibration, such as: Maintenance of the power tools
and attachments, keeping the hands warm and
organisation of work processes.
