2.0 SAFETY INFORMATION
2.1 GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION FOR USE
• The product requires a power supply of 220 – 240 V / ~50 – 60 Hz. Please check that the
appropriate power supply is available before use.
• Be sure to disconnect the power supply before dismantling / reassembling or adjusting the
product.
• Do not remove any warning labels or signs from the product.
• To avoid danger, if the device is damaged contact our Customer Service team or send the
device to one of our authorised service centres for replacement, and do not attempt to replace
it without our authorisation.
• The battery charger must not be covered during operation.
2.2 GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
• CAUTION! Read all the safety information and instructions. Failure to follow the safety
information and instructions may cause electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
• Ensure that water cannot get inside the device. Never immerse the device in water or other
liquids. Never expose it to rain.
• Do not use the device if the mains plug, mains cable or any other part of the device is defective
or damaged.
• Do not use the device if it has previously been dropped.
• Do not use the device if it exhibits visible signs of damage.
• Do not remove the mains plug from the socket by pulling on the mains cable.
• Never insert or remove the mains plug with wet hands.
• This device may be used by children over the age of 8 and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are
supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely and understand the risks
involved. Children must not play with the device. Do not allow children to clean the device or
perform user maintenance without supervision.
• Do not use any electrical devices in potentially explosive environments (e.g. in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust). Electrical devices produce sparks that can ignite dust or
exhaust fumes.
• CAUTION. Only charge rechargeable batteries to reduce the risk of injury. Other types of
battery may explode and cause injury and property damage.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the battery charger manufacturer may
lead to fire, electric shock or injury.
