1. Remove the cutting deck. Refer to
install the cutting deck on page 25 .
2. Look at the blades to see if they are damaged and if
it is necessary to sharpen them.
To replace the blades
1. Lock the blade with a wooden block.

2. Remove the nut (A), the washer (B), and the blade
(C).
3. Install the new blades. Make sure that the bent ends
on the blades point up.
WARNING:
can cause objects to eject from the
cutting deck and cause serious injury.
Use only the blades given in
data on page 38 .
4. Tighten the nut to 200 Nm.
To replace the cutting deck belt
1. Remove the cutting deck. Refer to
install the cutting deck on page 25 .
2. Remove the dirt and grass around the bearing
housings, blade pulleys and from the top surface of
the cutting deck.

3. Remove the bolt (A), the washer (B) and the idler
pulley (C).

4. Remove the cutting deck belt (D) from the blade
pulleys on the cutting deck.
5. Install a new drive belt in the opposite sequence.
a) Make sure that the cutting deck belt is in the
correct position in all belt pulleys.
CAUTION:
cutting deck belt is correctly installed
and not twisted. Refer to the belt routing
decal on the cutting deck.
To adjust the anti-scalp wheels
The anti-scalp wheels keep the cutting deck in the
correct position on the ground and prevent lawn scalping
in most terrain conditions. The anti-scalp wheels are
adjusted correctly when they are slightly off the ground
when the cutting deck is at the necessary cutting height.
1. Park the product on a level surface and stop the
engine.
2. Put the cutting deck in the necessary cutting height.
