3. When there are ice cubes on the surface of the evaporator that are not
easily falling into the ice storage compartment, do not use any items to
remove the ice by force. Instead, press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for
at least 5 seconds to prompt the unit to enter the ice-melting process.
After some while, the stuck ice cubes will fall. Then, turn off the unit and
unplug the power cord to clean the surface of the evaporator.
4. For the water tank and ice-full detecting plate
The water tank and ice-full detecting plate are very important for keeping your
ice cubes hygienic. Place a mixture of neutral cleaner and water into a clean
water jet, then spray all inner surfaces of the tank and ice-full detecting plate.
Wipe these surfaces as well as possible with a clean cloth. Spray the surfaces
with clean water, wiping with a dry, clean cloth. Then, drain out the water from
the water tank by pulling out the water drainpipe (indicated by "H" in the
above illustration). When all the cleaned water has been drained out, reinstall
the drainpipe into the water tank.
Suggestion: After cleaning and reinstalling the interior parts, discard the first
batch of ice made directly after cleaning.
