7. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Maintenance and cleaning:
Before performing any cleaning or maintenance, unplug the tool from the power grid;
After use, clean the tool with a damp cloth (do not pour water on the tool) and store it in a clean, dry place
protected from moisture and dust. Keep your tool out of reach of children and people unfamiliar with the use
of the equipment.
Transportation:
Do not pull or carry the tool by the electric cord or allow its contact with edges, sharp elements, rough
surfaces, oil or chemicals that may damage its flexible and insulating properties;
Do not move the tool with the trigger locked in the "on" position.
Repairs:
If required to perform any repair or replacement of the electric motor brushes, contact the nearest Schulz
assistance. Original parts Schulz must be used. The use of non-original parts results in warranty loss and
may cause damage to the equipment or injury.
8. ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDELINES AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Wastewater Disposal
The presence of untreated liquid or condensate effluent in rivers, lakes or other receiving water bodies
can adversely affect aquatic life and water quality. Therefore, Schulz recommends properly treating the
liquid effluent in accordance with the regulatory requirements of current legislation. Condensate removed
daily from the tank, according to the guidelines in the "Preventive Maintenance" chapter of the product's
instruction manual, must be stored in a container and/or in a proper collection network for its subsequent
treatment. Schulz sells Oil and Water Separators focused on helping treat this effluent.
2. Disposal of Solid Waste (large parts and product packaging)
Schulz enables the practice of reverse logistics for all its products and packaging. The primary goal of the
initiative is to reinsert waste into new production cycles, not disposing them in the environment, increasing
the lifespan of landfills and avoiding the extraction of raw materials.
This way, when the Schulz product completes its lifespan, you can contact an authorized dealer in the region
to return the item, which will be recycled or reused. Packaging must be disposed at selective collection sites
in the city or sent to an authorized dealer.
