PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
PROBLEM
If the humidifier does not work.
If the quantity of water in the tank is correct
but the humidifier is not working.
If there is an unpleasant smell.
If the appliance is very noisy.
If there is water near the humidifier.
If none of the solutions detailed above resolves the problem and/or in case of functional
faults other than those described here, take the appliance to the dealer or contact Artsana
S.p.A. or a technical service centre.
SOLUTION
• Make sure that the power cable plug (16) is
correctly inserted into the socket.
• Check that the mains voltage is present in
the electrical system.
• Check that the LED light (9) is illuminated
(green).
• Check that the tank (5) has been filled with
water.
• Check that the steam duct unit (13 + 14 +
15) is positioned correctly.
• Unplug the power cable from the mains
(16), leave the appliance until it has cooled
down completely and insert the plug into
the mains socket again.
• Check that the humidifier is securely posi-
tioned on a level surface.
• Check that the steam duct unit (13 + 14 +
15) is positioned correctly.
• Check that the heating plate (12) is not cov-
ered with limescale encrustations; if these
are present, clean as per the instructions
provided in the CLEANING AND MAINTE-
NANCE paragraph.
• Make sure that the water inside the tank is
not dirty. Remove and clean the water tank
(5) as per the instructions in the section
entitled "Cleaning and maintenance", then
air it out by leaving it in a cool place for 24
hours with the cap open.
• Check that the appliance is securely posi-
tioned on a level surface.
• Clean the heating element (12) according
to the instructions in the "Cleaning and
maintenance" paragraph.
• The room is not properly ventilated and the
level of humidity in the room prevents the
humidifier from diffusing the steam. Venti-
late the room and turn off the appliance.
