Introduction
These instructions describe the assembly and operation of the MT premium ORTHO guide set.
1.1
Symbols used
Symbols with the following meanings are used in these instructions or on the equipment:
Danger
Immediate danger of injury. Consult accompanying documents!
Electrical voltage
Danger due to electrical voltage.
Laser
Do not look into the laser beam.
Caution
Risk of damage to the equipment if the instruction is not followed.
Notice
Provides the operator with useful information that eases use.

Safety
2.1
Intended use
The MT premium ORTHO guide set can be used to extend the MT premium trimmer with an orthodontic
trimmer table and a laser guide.
2.2
Improper use
The guide light may only be used in combination with the trimmer and only when attached to the trimmer
as described in these instructions.
It must not be detached and used for other purposes.
2.3
Ambient conditions for safe operation
The ambient conditions for the trimmer shall apply.
2.4
Hazard and warning information
2.4.1
General information
► If the unit is not used in accordance with the supplied operating instructions, the intended safety
can no longer be guaranteed.
► Disconnect the unit from the mains power supply before carrying out work on the electrical parts.
► Defective equipment must be taken out of service immediately. Disconnect the power plug and
secure the equipment against further use. Send the equipment in for repair!
► Information on REACH and SVHC is available on our website at www.renfert.com, in the Support
area.
2.4.2
Specific information
► Caution! Laser beam! Class 1 laser! Do not look directly into the beam! Do not look into beams
that are reflected on shiny surfaces.
► Only use the guide light when it is attached.
2.5
Authorized persons
Operation and maintenance of the equipment may only be performed by trained personnel.
Any repairs not described in these operating instructions may only be performed by a qualified electrician.
