WHILE WORK IS BEING PERFORMED ON
THE WALLBOX
If the wallbox is installed, maintained, repaired or
dismantled by personnel who are not suitably
qualified, this may result in e.g. a fire or an electric
shock.
Have this work performed by a qualified electrician
only.
Ensure that the power supply to the domestic electrical
installation is interrupted before starting installation.
Liability
In the event of improper installation of the device,
Mercedes-Benz disclaims any liability for damage that
may occur and the warranty for the device is rendered
invalid.

Installation requirements
Note the following before starting installation:
•
Check the scope of delivery for damage. If you find
any damage, do not install the wallbox.
•
To configure the wallbox, it must be connected to
the Internet ( page 15).
•
At the installation site, the wallbox should be
protected from adverse weather conditions such
as direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, heavy
rain, etc.
•
The wall on which you intend to install the wallbox
must be smooth and have a sufficient load-bearing
capacity.
The mains cable is fed into the wallbox through the
underside as standard.It is possible to insert it from
above, but only when the device is installed indoors.

configured for the wallbox
-The automatic circuit breaker should correspond
to the ampere settings of the wallbox and the
maximum current available to the wallbox; the
technical data from the MCB manufacturer is to be
taken into account here.-
