5 Performing the 2-3-4-wheel vehicle test

This manual detail the application of the exhaust gas analyser for the
determination of maximum speed and the detection of emissions from
scooters and motorbikes.
For the sake of brevity, the term 'Motorbike' will be used for 'Two-wheeled
vehicles, three-wheeled vehicles, quadricycles and light quadricycles with
positive-ignition engines'.
5.1

Electric connections

The PC, the gas analysis cell, the speed bench and the rpm counter are
connected as follows:
RPM Counter
The communication serial ports with the gas analysis cell, with the speed
bench and the rpm counter are configured through the configurator, as
described in the previous paragraph
5.2

Test Procedures

How to perform a test
This program allows checking the polluting emissions through the speed test
bench.
Hereinafter is the description of the operating sequence of the test.
