INTENDED USAGE
This machine is for grinding and cutting stone and metal with a respective grinding or cutting disc.
In addition, this angle grinder must be equipped with the appropriate protective cover.
The machine comes with a safety cover that is exclusively designed for grinding work. If you
would like to cut metal or stone with the device, you must get a special safety cover for cutting.
These covers are available at specialty stores or through our service address.
UNINTENTED USE
All uses of the machine that are not stated in the chapter "intended use" are classed as
unintentional use.
The machine may not be used for the following purposes:
• Handling of other materials not listed in the purposeful use section,
• Use with a saw blade,
• Use as a stationary device
• As a power unit for other devices
There is danger of injury. The user of the machine bears liability for all resulting material damage,
as well as personal injuries which occurred due to misuse.
When using other, or rather not original components on the machine, the warranty of the
manufacturer expires.
RESIDUAL RISKS
Even during appropriate use of the appliance, there is still a certain residual risk that cannot be
ruled out. From the type and construction of the machine, the following potential hazards can be
derived:
• Contact with unprotected grinding wheels
• Reaching into grinding wheels that are still turning
• Slinging away of parts of the grinding wheels and other parts
• Damage to hearing when no required ear protection is worn
• Inhaling dust
• Electric shock when touching uninsulated electric components.
If the instructions found in your operating instructions are not observed, other residual risks may
occur due to improper use.
