SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This device can be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and
knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe
use of the device and understand the resulting dangers.
Children are not allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance should
not be carried out by children without supervision. It is essential to observe the safety
instructions for correct and safe use. Please keep these instructions in a safe place.
If the owner changes, please pass on the instructions.
All work with this device may only be carried out in accordance with these instructions.
The combination of water and electricity can lead to serious danger to life and limb if it is
not connected properly or handled improperly.
Only operate the device when there are no people in the water!
Before reaching into the water, always unplug all devices in the water. Compare the
electrical data of the power supply with the type plate on the packaging or on the de-
vice. Make sure that the device is protected by a residual current device with a rated
residual current of maximum 30 mA. Only operate the device from a properly installed
socket. Keep the power plug and all connection points dry! Lay the connection cable so
that it is protected to prevent damage. Only use cables, installations, adapters, extension
or connection cables with protective contact that are approved for outdoor use. Do not
carry or pull the device by the connecting cable! The device must not be operated if the
cable or housing is defective! If the power cord of the device is damaged, the device must
be disposed of; it is no longer possible to replace the power cord. If the cable is damaged,
the device must be disposed of. Electrical installations on garden ponds must comply with
international and national installation regulations. Never open the housing of the device or
its associated parts unless this is expressly stated in the instructions for use.
Never make technical changes to the device, this leads to the immediate expiry
of all warranty and guarantee claims. Use only original spare parts and accessories.
Have repairs carried out only by authorized customer service centers.
