2.13 Scrap disposal
Electrolytic capacitors in the main circuit and PCB board can explode when burnt. Poisonous gas is
generated when plastic parts burn. Treat them as industrial waste in a special way.
2.14 Matched motor
The standard matched motor is a suitable four-pole squirrel cage asynchronous induction motor. For
other motor types, select a suitable frequency inverter according to the rated current of the motor. If
the user is using an inverter for a permanent magnet synchronous motor, please contact my company
to select another inverter series.
The cooling fan is coaxial to the rotor shaft of the non-variable frequency motor, which will reduce the
cooling effect when the shaft rotational speed decreases. If a variable speed motor is required, add a
separate cooling fan or replace the motor with a variable frequency motor.
The common standard parameters of the matched motor have been set inside the frequency con-
verter. It is still necessary to auto-tune the motor or modify the default values according to the actual
application. Otherwise, the run result and the protection performance will be weakened.
The frequency inverter may alarm or even be damaged if there is a short circuit in the cables or inside
the motor. Therefore, perform an insulation test when the motor and cables are newly installed or
during routine maintenance. During the test, make sure that the frequency converter is disconnected
from the tested parts.
