1. SAFETY INFORMATION AND PRECAUTIONS
In this manual, warnings are classified according to the degree of danger:
Read this manual carefully to understand it correctly; installation, commissioning and maintenance.
Proindecsa SL assumes no responsibility for any injury or loss caused by incorrect operation.
Before installation:
•
Do not operate frequency converter with damaged or missing components. Failure to
comply may result in personal injury.
•
Use the electric motor with higher insulation class B.
During installation:
•
Install the frequency converter on non-combustible objects such as metal and keep it
away from combustible materials. Failure to comply may result in fire.
•
When placing two frequency inverters in the same cabinet, position the installation posi-
tions correctly to ensure sufficient cooling effect.
•
Do not leave cable residue or screw on the frequency inverter. Failure to comply will result
in damage to the frequency inverter.
Wiring hazard:
•
Wiring must only be carried out by qualified personnel following the instructions described
in this manual. Failure to comply may result in unexpected accidents.
•
A circuit breaker must be used to isolate the power supply and the frequency inverter.
Failure to do so may result in fire.
•
Make sure that the power supply is cut off before wiring. Failure to comply may result in
electric shock.
