3) Finishing sanding - for final polishing of the edges after each knife
sharpening. It allows you to remove small burrs and grind marks,
making the edge of the blade smoother and brighter. This step is
recommended after each knife sharpening. Treatment method
identical to the previous steps.
ATTENTION: this processing step is not suitable for ceramic knives!
Turn off the device by setting the power switch to the off position (the LED

on the switch will turn off).

After each sharpening, wipe the knife with a damp cloth or rinse it under
water, then wipe it dry.

Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Pull the mains plug and let the unit cool down completely before cleaning,
adjusting or replacing accessories and when the unit is not in use.
Wait until the rotating parts stop.

Only mild detergents designed for cleaning food contact surfaces may be used
to clean the unit.
c)
Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
d)
Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
e)
Make sure that no water enters through the ventilation openings in the casing.
f)
Clean the ventilation openings with a brush and compressed air.
g)
Regular inspections of the device should be performed in terms of its technical
efficiency and any damage - start the device at least once every 3 months.
h)
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
i)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. wire brush or metal spatula) for
cleaning as they may damage the surface of the appliance material.
j)
Do not clean the device with acidic substances, medical products, thinners,
fuel, oil, or other chemicals as this may damage the device.
k)
The magnetic plate that collects the filings should be cleaned after each
completed work. The plate is located at the bottom of the housing. To remove
it, press on its latch on one side and lift the plate from the base:
