OUTDOOR USE
All Nestor cooking units are designed for outdoor use only. A
cover plate is available for outdoor storage.
NESTOR is able to withstand all weather conditions and can
always be stored outside. If the appliance is not used for a long
time, we recommend storing the baking plates in a dry place.

It is important that you regularly treat the cooktop with oil, both
the surface and the edges. The cooktop is made of steel and
will corrode if oil is not baked into it. When the oil is well baked
in, only slight corrosion will develop.
If the cooktop is not used for a long period of time and is left
unprotected, we recommend that you treat it regularly with oil
to prevent corrosion. Any superficial corrosion (flash rust) that
develops can be removed with steel wool.
In case of excessive corrosion, we recommend brushing the
surface with a wire brush. It is best to heat the cooktop in
advance, as this will loosen the layer of corrosion. When the
cooktop has been thoroughly cleaned, you can wipe away the
residue with a cloth. When you treat the cooktop with oil, it is
again as good as new.
