6 Cleaning and storage

To ensure perfect functioning and optimum performance of
your Sahira anti-static, regularly carry out the following steps
of cleaning:

6.1 Cleaning the appliance

1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
3. If necessary, use a brush to clean the grid of the air outlet
opening 8.

6.2 Cleaning the air inlet grille

1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Twist the air inlet grille 1 to the left and
pull it off the appliance.
3. Clean the air inlet grille under running
water. Allow it to dry thoroughly.
4. Place the air inlet grille on the appliance
again and fasten it by turning to the
right.

6.3 Storage

The hanging loop 4 provides a safe and
practical means of storing the Sahira anti-
static.
Do not wind the cord round the appliance
(risk of damaging the cable).

7 What should I do if ...

... the appliance does not switch on?
– Is the mains plug fixed firmly in the power socket?
– Is the power socket working?
... the fan is working, but the heater is not?
– The appliance may have overheated. Check that the air
inlet and outlet openings are free and leave the appli-
ance running for a moment. If everything is in order, the
heater will cut in again after a short break. If the heater
does not switch on again, pull out the mains plug and
consult Wella Customer Service.
